Osmanth Docs is operated by the Osmanth team, as part of Osmanth. To reach a person, write to [email protected].

What it is

A set of tools that turn a PDF into Markdown, spreadsheets, JSON, text, images or LaTeX. Every tool uses the same document-understanding engine, and every result carries a quality status so you know where to look.

Not the same as Check Before Send

Check Before Send, another Osmanth product, asks what a file reveals about you and works inside your browser tab, so the file is never uploaded. Osmanth Docs asks what a file contains and how to reuse it. That takes far more computing than a browser tab can do, so your PDF is uploaded to our servers, processed, and deleted. Neither product keeps your documents, but only Check Before Send never receives them. See Privacy & retention.

What is not known yet

• We have not published accuracy percentages. The current test set is too small to support them, so each result is labelled instead.
• Where our servers are located and which company hosts them is not stated here yet. It will be added when the service is deployed.
• Very dense scanned tables, such as old statistical reports, are often not read reliably. Those results are marked for review rather than presented as correct.
